For those of you who live in the Northeast, Canada, or any other part of the country that got a real whole lot of white stuff this past weekend:

For every thirty minutes you shovel snow, Weight Watchers gives you two activity points.  Think of what a great aerobic workout you can get!

  1. I think that depends on how fast you shovel it!

  2. It’s too darn cold outside, I would rather walk on the tredmill while the kids shovel the snow.

  3. I’m in Arizona. No snow for us. Plus I’m a wuss and even if there WAS? I wouldn’t be the one to shovel it… too cold. brrrrr.

  6. During monsoon season we shovel sand. We actually have to plow the sand off the roads! How many calories can you burn pulling weeds?

  7. What about Christmas shopping? Doing all that walking in the stores should burn some calories, especially if you’re pushing a cart full of stuff. (and even more if you need to wrestle a toddler into a car seat every time you get in the car!)

  8. On the afternoon of the 25th I had to shovel a lot of wrapping paper, how many points for that?
